Black Panther actor, Chadwick Boseman dies at 43

Black Panther actor, Chadwick Boseman has passed away after battling with colon cancer for four years without any news about it. He died at the age of 43. WAKANDA FOREVER! 

His family has taken to his social media platforms to announce the passing of their son and the message reads:

"It's with immeasurable grief that we confirm the passing of Chadwick Boseman. 
Chadwick was diagnosed with the stage lll colon cancer in 2016, and battled with it these last 4 years as it progressed to stage IV.
A true fighter, Chadwick persevered through it all, and brought you many of the films you have come to love so much. From Marshall to Da 5 Bloods, August Wilson's Ma Rainey's Black Bottom and several more, all were filmed during and between countless surgeries and chemotherapy. 
It was honor of his career to bring King T'Challa to life in Black Panther. 
He died in his home, with wife and family by his side. 
The family thanks you for your love and prayers, and asks that you continue to respect their privacy during this difficult time."

Chadwick performed so well in Black Panther with the character, T'Challa. Black Panther was a blockbuster film from 2018 to late 2019. According to his family, Boseman died in his home with his wife and family by his side.

Lots of celebrities are saddened by the passing of Chadwick and they have taken to social media to pen their condolences to him. 

Halle Berry wrote: "Here's an incredible man with immeasurable talent, who leaned all the way into life regardless of his personal battle behind the scenes. May we take this as a reminder that you never truly know what the people around you might e going through - treat them with kindness and cherish every minute you together. RIP @Chadwickboseman."

Billy Porter wrote: "There are no words. I'm speechless. R.I.P. Chadwick Boseman. You've inspired a generation of young black youth to discover their roots and reminded us all that we are ROYALTY! 
Thank you for leaving your mark and making a real difference." 

Frederick Joseph wrote: "In a conversation with Chadwick Boseman, I mentioned having multiple sclerosis. He was genuinely concerned and told me tox reach out if I needed anything. 
Meanwhile, he had colon cancer and didn't mention it. A true king and superhero. Grace is the only word."
