Pastor Ize-Iyamu is not ready to accept defeat as he reveals the election wasn't free and fair

All Progressive Congress (APC) Governorship candidate, Pastor Ize-Iyamu, is not ready to accept defeat following the pronouncement of Obaseki as the winner of the 2020 Edo State Governorship election.

Ize-Iyamu has taken to his Twitter page to revealed that the election wasn't free and fair due to prevention from voting. According to him, he says many of his supporters were prevented from voting during the election.

He ended his statement on Twitter by saying he and other APC members are studying the results and their next move will be announced soon.

Pastor Ize-Iyamu was defeated in 18 LGAs by Godwin Obaseki. He had a total of 223,619 votes while Obaseki had 307,955 votes.

"I thank and appreciate my supporters, who had to ensure many evils including being prevented from voting, for their support and determination during the election.
I assure you all that I'm studying the results along with other party members and will announce my next move soon," he tweeted.
