Singer, Burnaboy breaks record with African Giant in the UK

Nigerian Dancehall singer, Burnaboy, has broken a huge record in the United Kingdom (UK) for being the first African artiste to have a Silver Certified album. 

The good news was shared by the management of a popular award show in the UK, Brit awards on Twitter. Brit notified the world that Burnaboy's African Giant has been certified Silver in the UK after one year. 

African Giant is Burnaboy's fourth studio album and it incredibly earned a Grammy nomination in 2020. The album was released under Burnaboy's owned Record Label, Spaceship Entertainment and other Record Labels he got signed to, such as: Atlantic Records and Warner Music. 

This year, Burnaboy dropped his fifth studio album, titled, Twice As Tall. The album was executive produced by Sean Combs (Diddy), Bosede Ogulu and Burnaboy himself. 

Twice As Tall has garnered over 175.3 Million streams across many music platforms within one month.
