Nollywood actor, Ernest Asuzu dies after a long battle with stroke

Nollywood actor, Ernest Asuzu, has died after battling with a stroke for a very long time. According to reports, he hardly received help from his fellow colleagues in the entertainment industry.

According to reports, it was reported that he died at exactly 9pm after slumping. His fans and colleagues are currently rolling in their condolences messages to him. May His Soul Rest In Perfect Peace.

President of the Actors' Guild of Nigeria, Emeka Rollas confirmed his death in a short statement: "Yes, Ernest Asuzu is dead. I am trying to reach his wife to get the full details. I will get back to you." 

According to The Punch:

"Asuzu began his acting career in the ’90s and rose to prominence after he starred in the 1997 Nollywood classic, ‘Rituals’.

He was the toast of Nollywood until his career nosedived after he came down with a stroke in 2015 and it affected his speech. He was also bedridden for three years."
