(Videos) Hospitals reject gas plant explosion victims at Agbor, Delta State due to lack of equipment

In the early hours of Saturday, People, travellers and passers-by at Delta State witnessed a tragic incident. It's just the first month of 2021 and tragic incidents have started happening.

Yesterday, diesel explosion took place at Nnewi and no Firefighters were present to put out the fire. The youths in Nnewi saved the day as they fought tirelessly to put out the fire. 

In the early hours of Saturday, a gas plant explosion took place at Agbor, Benin/ Asaba-Delta road. According to reports, over 11 people had died due to lack of equipment at the different hospitals in the state to treat the victims. Several people were burnt beyond recognition. 

In a video, a young man was heartbroken after the hospital he rushed a victim couldn't treat her due to lack of equipment. In another video, a man showed the hospital some victims were taken; no medical doctors or nurses were around to treat the victims. 

According to reports, Governor of Delta State, Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa, has visited the area of the gas plant explosion in Agbor. He has also met some of the victims who couldn't receive treatments.

As always the case in an emergency, no doctor was available at the central hospital to tend to the injured & the dying
