15-year-old Nigerian girl shines as she wins Global Open Mathematics Tournament

A 15-year-old girl, named, Faith Odunsi, has made Nigerians proud after winning a top tournament in Mathematics. She has always been so good at Mathematics, right from a popular Mathematics Tournament in Nigeria, Cowbellpedia in 2019.



Faith Odunsi defeated students from countries, such as: The Philippines, Indonesia, Brazil, United States of America (USA), India, UK, etc. She came first position in the Senior Category for Global Open Mathematics Tournament.



Faith Odunsi came first (1st), while Nicolas Lee from Indonesia came second (2nd) and Ralph Moses came third (3rd) in the Global Open Mathematics Competition. In 2019, she broke the record for answering 19 mathematical questions in 60 seconds at Cowbellpedia in 2019.

She's a student of The Ambassadors Schools, Ota, Ogun State, Nigeria. She's currently in SSS3. Nigerians are currently celebrating her for her outstanding performance during the tournament.
