Nigerian entertainment industry has been thrown into mourning mood after losing a popular Veteran Nollywood actor and NTA's broadcaster, Sadiq Daba. His death was announced by a popular movie producer and director on social media. (Read More Here).
Taking to his Instagram page, Kunle Afolayan (popular movie director), announced the passing away of Sadiq Daba as he shared a photo of him and the deceased actor. According to reports, he died after a long time battle with leukaemia and prostate cancer. He died on Wednesday evening - March 3, 2021.

His death has been confirmed by filmmaker Kunle Afolayan. Afolayan said he spoke with his wife and son who confirmed his passing to him.
Many Nigerians including billionaire Femi Otedola donated money for his treatment abroad and gave out-pouring support on social media.
Daba made waves in the 1980s on Nigerian Television Authority (NTA). He has featured in several TV series and movies, with ‘Cock Crow at Dawn’ and ‘October 1st’ as notable mentions.
