Saga: Police arrest Singer Barry Jhay in Ghana after the death of his boss

Reports have it that Singer Barry Jhay has been arrested in Ghana following the death of his record label boss (Cash Nation, Kashy Godson. It was earlier reported that Kashy had committed suicide in Ghana after jumping off a three (3) storey building.

Before the death of Kashy, he and Barry Jhay had a fight. In a trending video on social media, Barry Jhay was seen lamenting after Kashy beat him out of the building during their fight in Ghana. 

According to Barry, he says he didn't do anything to his boss. In another news, Kashy's brother, Rina, has said that his brother was killed and not a suicide case. According to an eyewitness, he says Barry was arrested by Ghana police while he was in a friend's house.

Rina wrote: "My brother gave you his Benz worth 9 million Naira. 

He gave you his Hublot worth 15 million Naira. 

He's putting on shoes. And some blogs and idiots are still saying he committed suicide. My brother was killed!!!"

Who is Kashy? 

Born Babatunde Oyerinde Abiodun, Godson launched his CashNation Entertainment with Barry Jhay as his frontline artist.

Not much was known about him before he hit headlines in June 2020 after he was arrested by the Lagos Zonal office of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

The anti-crime unit in a statement accused the label owner of using proceeds of his fraudulent activities of funding his lavish lifestyle.
