Taking to her Twitter page in January, Dj Cuppy revealed that Zlatan Ibile had blocked her on a his social media platforms, despite having a successful hit song as good friends. Zlatan would have definitely seen the tweet through his friends but decided not to reply.
Isreal took to his Instagram page to reveal what probably happened between Zlatan and Cuppy, that made him (Zlatan) block her (Cuppy). Few days later, Dj Cuppy took to her Twitter to announce that she had sued Isreal for "character defamation and libel." A few days later again, Dj Cuppy took to Twitter to tell Israel to tender a public apology to her.
Isreal humbly did and it caused serious reactions from Nigerians on social media. Nigerians began to mock him for being humble after he got sued by a Billionaire's daughter.
Yesterday, Cuppy took to her Instagram story to reveal she's finally accepted Israel's public apology. Isreal saw her post and he decided to thank her. Thanking her, he tied a pink towel (Pink is Dj Cuppy's favourite colour). He thanked her for forgiving him and also dropping the court case.
Dj Cuppy wrote: Following the public apology of mr. Isreal Afeare (@IsreDMW), I have decided to no longer proceed with the lawsuit and have instructed my lawyers accordingly. As social media users, I hope that we can all learn from this and ensure that we have a valid facts before we speak on matters."
