(Videos) Moments Super Eagles travelled to Benin Republic by waterways

Nigerian footballers popularly known as, Super Eagles of Nigeria, have departed for Porto Novo, Benin Republic ahead of Saturday's qualifier football game. Their means of travel was via waterways.

According to the coach, Rohr Gernot, he assured the Super Eagles that travelling by sea is the best, especially for this trip. He assured them after questions were raised about how safe it would be for them when travelling by sea. Rohr Gernot responded:

"Last Saturday, I made the trip and we were flying on the water.
It was so quick and calm."

This morning, Super Eagles players and their coach were seen as they arrived at Five Cowrie Terminal ahead of the journey via speed boat to Benin Republic. They were welcomed by many fans and a few Government officials.

On Saturday (Tomorrow), Super Eagles will clash with Benin Republic football players to fight for the ticket of 2022 AFCON (Africa Cup of Nations). Pinnick also joined the Super Eagles on the speed yacht to Benin Republic. Travelling to Benin Republic via boat takes only 1 hour 40 minutes.

The major reasons they travelled by sea are:
1. Bad roads that leads to Benin Republic.
2. Many protocols at the borders, which might result into stress and time wasting scenario.
