WATCH: Boko Haram release footage showing how they bombed the missing NAF Aircraft

Boko Haram shoots down Nigerian Airforce Alpha jet down:

Terrorists disturbing Africa, especially Nigeria, Boko Haram, have released a footage showing how they bombed down the missing NAF 475 aircraft. The Nigerian Air force aircraft went missing on the 31st of March, 2021.



According to the statement released by the NAF, it revealed that two flight lieutenants were killed. In the video, one of the flight lieutenants was seen lying dead on the ground at the terrible site of the explosion. The attack was an air strike from Boko Haram straight to the Aircraft.

In the end of the video, one of Boko Haram members was seen telling Nigerians to accept Allah and Islam. According to him, he says accepting Allah is the only way a person can be saved.

Statement from NAF this morning:

"UPDATE ON MISSING NAF ALPHA JET AIRCRAFT

Intelligence report gathered by the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) indicates that the Alpha Jet aircraft (NAF475) that went off the radar with 2 crew members on board on 31 March 2021 might have crashed. 

The cause of the crash as well as the whereabouts of the 2 pilots remain unknown. The pilots are Flight Lieutenant John Abolarinwa and Flight Lieutenant Ebiakpo Chapele. 

Extensive search and rescue efforts are still ongoing by NAF surveillance aircraft as well as NAF Special Forces and Nigerian Army troops on ground. 
At this point, the NAF is not ruling out anything regarding the incident. It however remains hopeful that the crew would soon be found and rescued.
