7 interesting things you should know about late Ibrahim Attahiru

As we all know that Chief Of Army Staff, Ibrahim Attahiru and 10 others have been laid to rest at that National Military Cemetery in Abuja. He and 10 other military men died in a terrible plane crash at Kaduna Airport, yesterday.

1. He was born on August 10, 1966 at Doka, Kaduna North Local Government.

2. He died on May 21, 2021 at the age of 55.

3. He was the 21st Chief of Army Staff.

4. He was preceded by Lieutenant General Tukur Yusuf Burarai.

5. He's a graduate of the Nigerian Defence Academy, Armed Forces Command and Staff College, Jaji.

6. He held a Master's Degree in Strategic Management and Policy Studies from the Nigerian Defence Academy.

7. He was awarded with UNAMSIL medal, ECOMOG medal, Meritorious Service star, Corp Medal of Honour and Command Medal.
