Dare-devil gunmen who are yet to be identified, Tuesday morning attacked Iwollo Oghe Police station in Ezeagu local government area of Enugu state, Kossyderrickent reports.
A resident in the area who narrated the incident to Kossyderrickent said no fewer than five police personnel were killed in the deadly attack. Our source also said the police facility totally razed by the assailants.
Amateur footage obtained by Kossyderrickent also revealed that most of the vehicles and other property in the premises were completely burnt down.
Spokesman of the Police Command, Daniel Ndukwe, confirmed the incident.
He however said he would not give official statement until Police Commissioner, Mohammed Aliyu returned from his on- the- spot assessment of the damages and casualties.
