Heavily armed Gunmen whose identity is yet to be revealed in the early hours of today attacked Umutu Police Station, at Umutu town, Ukwuani Local Government Area of Delta State, Kossyderrickent has learned.
According to locals, the seige which lasted for about two hours left three officers reportedly shoot dead. The assailants also burned some vehicles at the premises of the station.
All efforts to get confirmation from the Delta State Police public relations officer proved abortive as calls to his known phone didn't go through.
