The source says that it was a Toyota Matrix that knocked the little child down and he's currently being arrested. The police have assured the residents of Ogbomosho that justice will be served and further investigations will be carried out.
The close source to Governor Seyi Makinde also said that before the car knocked down the child, Governor Seyi Makinde hasn't arrived at the "said venue" for a campaign of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
"The car that hit the little child was actually a Toyota Matrix and it doesn't belong to Governor Seyi Makinde's convoy. The driver of the car has been arrested. The incident even happened before the governor arrived at the venue for the campaign," the source says.
