The information is fake as two close sources in the community have reached out to Kossyderrickent. The guy who had the issue with Maro has also debunked the "gay rumours" publicly.
"Maro wasn't beaten up by the community youths for being gay or sodomizing any little boy. He was only attacked and beaten because he refused to pay back the money he borrowed from his friend. His friend called him but he refused to take his calls. Out of anger, the guy involved the community youths.
"They stormed his house in a polite way because of his celebrity status, but he didn't respect himself as the youths got angry. They tied and beating him up" the first source says.
"I think Sahara Reporters said that his hair was cut, why is there still hair on his head? Obibi Maro was only beaten up because he refused to pay back the N200K he borrowed from his friend. Currently, Obibi, his friend and the community have all settled the matter. He has also paid back the N200K," the second source says.
