(Video) Senator Ubanese exposed for arresting and holding hostage of 8 children since 2000

A Nigerian Senator, Ubanese Alphonsus Obi Igbeke, has been exposed by a BBC correspondent who recently visited the families of the children arrested by the Senator since 2000-2001. Till date, the children haven't been released by the evil Senator. 

According to reports, the children were over 8 (from the age range of 8-12), but only one managed to escape and went far away from the village. The families of the arrested children said they met Senator Ubanese and pleaded with him but he refused to let their children go.

According to BBC report, Senator Ubanese arrested the 8 children because they threw knockout (fireworks) at him in 2000. Out of annoyance, he sent people to storm the homes of the children and arrest them. They were arrested on the ground that they were criminals. 

Two of the children are identified as: Chinedu and Chinyere. According to an eyewitness, he says he saw how the children were tortured by the men of the Senator. How this issue hasn't gone viral in Nigeria is still a misery.
