"We want to see Shekau's dead body" - Nigerians react to authenticity of Shekau's death

A few Nigerians are currently not ready to believe that Boko Haram leader, Abubakar Shekau is dead. The disbelief is as a result of his numerous reported deaths over a few years. 

It was reported this afternoon that Boko Haram's Shekau has committed suicide by bombing himself as fear of being captured gripped him. A few Nigerians are celebrating over his death, while a few don't believe he's actually dead as they demand for photos or videos of his dead body. 

A few set of Nigerians are saying that the Military men should watch out for ISWAP, as battle with terrorism isn't over yet in Nigeria.

For those reaching out to me, I'm keeping tabs on the multiple reports that Shekau has been killed by ISWAP. The news is becoming more and more likely, but not yet definitive from my side. If the longest lasting terrorist leader has been killed, that will be a huge turning point.

Reports that Boko Haram leader, Abubakar Shekau, is dead. Shekau either was killed by members of the rival ISWAP group or through suicide. By my count, this is the ninth occasion in which claims of Shekau's death emerged from Nigeria, but the first to not come from state sources.

Shekau has died several times and so it’s hard to believe this latest report of his death without credible proof.

While we can celebrate the possible killing of Shekau today, we should know that ISWAP had been the real enemy bringing it to our soldiers.

They are better trained and much more professional than BH.

But they are not as terrible towards civilians as BH have been.
