According to reports, Maxwell Eseosa Aimuan, was followed but he didn't know. He was attacked and shot while trying to drive into compound at Isihor, Benin City.
Maxwell is a lecturer at the Department of Public Administration in Uniben. He was shot dead on Saturday, June 17, 2021.
His assailants shot him numerous time and ran away. He was rushed to the hospital, where he was confirmed "Dead On Arrival."
The public relations officer of the university, Benedicta Ehanire, who confirmed the incident described the late lecturer as hardworking and dedicated university staff.
Ehanire called on security agents to unravel those behind the killing. Maxwell was employed in 2015 as a Graduate Assistant, because he before a main lecturer.
