The suspension came after President Buhari's civil war tweet was deleted by the micro blogging application. Taking to his Twitter page, Femi Fani-Kayode says the suspension of Twitter by the FG has proved to the civilised world that they are weak and unstable.

Femi Fani-Kayode also says that the suspension of Twitter is a grave abuse of power to deny the Nigerian people of their right to free speech.

His statement reads: "The suspension of @Twitter by the FG has proved to the civilised world that they are weak, unstable, paranoid, insensitive, vindictive & delusional.
