Young lady gets robbed and attacked on Korope bus at Lekki-Ikoyi axis, Lagos

An unidentified young lady has been robbed and her hands severally stabbed by deadly passengers on a mini bus, popularly known as, Korope. The incident took place at Dolphin Estate, Lekki-Ikoyi axis in Lagos state. (Read More Here). The attack seemed like that of "One Chance."

Taking to social media, Gbenro, revealed that his friend recently got attacked, despite the fact that her bus passed through a police check. Unfortunately, the police didn't notice she was in danger.

After they had passed through the checkpoint, the passengers brought out knives and robbed her of everything she had that day, such as: money, her two expensive phones and her ATM card.

After stealing from her, she was stabbed in her two hands and got thrown out the bus. She went to the first police station to complain, but got a response that they had already closed for the day.

She went to the last police station, and unfortunately, she was rather blamed for having two phones and was never helped. Fortunately, she wrote down the plate number of the small bus.

Narrating what happened, Gbenro wrote:

"Yesterday, a friend boarded a public bus with a few passengers already in it (the small Korope) from Lekki down to the Mainland. On passing through Ikoyi towards Dolphin Estate, the passengers took out knife and threaten to stab her if she refused to let go of all her belongings.

"She screamed for help while they pass through a police check point along the Dolphin Estate road. They police did nothing. On releasing her bag, they stabbed her severally on the hand. Took her phones, money and Debit card. But they didn't take her pen and paper.

"She was able to write down the Number Plate of the small bus, AKD114YA.
She went to the nearest police station, they said they've closed at few minutes pass 6pm, went to another, the police were questioning why she'll be using 2 phones.
She lost her phones luckily she was able to block her bank.

"Account ASAP. She's a Nurse looking for how to make ends meet for crying out loud.
