Nigerian groom, Jamilu Abdulhamid dies and bride, Saratu Salisu in coma after involvement in fatal car accident on Kaduna-Abuja Road

Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that a Nigerian groom by name, Jamilu Abdulhamid, had died after being involved in a ghastly motor accident on Kaduna-Abuja highway on July 13, 2021.

According to the brother of the bride, he said that Saratu Abdul Salisu, is currently in coma due to her critical condition. 

On Sunday, July 11, 2021, Jamilu Abdulhamid and Saratu Abdul Salisu had their Islamic wedding in Kano and were heading to Benin Republic from Abuja when they got involved in the fatal auto crash. 

The groom’s friend Kabiru Garba, said the couple left Kano for Abuja, preparatory to heading to the Benin Republic where they had planned to settle in their matrimonial home.

“I had my last chat with Saratu yesterday (Monday) where I congratulated her on her marriage. Saratu was taken to a hospital in Abuja for medical attention,” Garba said.
