Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has caused laughter after saying he can't kill him and he doesn't want die at an event that took place on Sunday, July 18, 2021. (Read More Here).
In the trending video, His Excellency, Babajide Sanwo-Olu was seen at an event and was entertained by artistes who performed on stage. While Timaya was singing his hit song, he went to where the governor was sitting.
When Timaya got there, he asked Governor Sanwo-Olu to complete the lyrics of his song. The governor completed it as he sang, "I can’t kill myself. I no wan die."
After completing that part, the people present in the hall bursted into laughter. Unfortunately, it wasn't funny to a few Nigerians who got angry with Timaya for giving the Governor such an audience.
A few Nigerians started attacking Timaya as they told him that he was very close to asking the governor "who ordered the shooting at Lekki Tollgate during End SARS protests in October 2020."
