A yet-to-be identified male lecturer at Nnamdi Azikiwe University has been called out by his female student, gigi_symplefyed Ginika, for flogging her over refusal to wear Jersey and native attire. (Read More Here).
Taking to her Instagram page, Ginika, shared a video showing the "marks" she sustained from the beating she had received. In the trending video, Ginika was heard saying that she got flogged because she didn't wear native attire and Jersey to class.
She wrote:
"They have killed us in economics department #Unizik oooo... How many suffer wey we go suffer for this school?
Why and where on earth is it ethical to hit a student at all? Not to talk of to this extent... It was a male lecturer of Unizik that did this...
He should release my shoe shaa let me go home
