Seven female guests die while returning from a wedding in Ughelli, Delta State

Seven wedding guests lost their lives after their vehicle veered off the road and ran into the bush along Orogun Road in the Ughelli North LGA of Delta State. (Read More Here).

It was gathered that the accident which involved a Toyota Sienna with about nine passengers on board, occurred around 5pm on Saturday, August 21. 

According to reports, the occupants were said to be from Bomadi community in Delta State and were returning from a marriage ceremony at Orogun community when the incident occurred.

Their vehicle was said to had veered off the road and ran into the bush. The vehicle reportedly somersaulted many times, killing seven persons on the spot, including the driver. 

Two persons, however, survived and were rushed to a hospital in Ughelli community.
