Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that a 200-level student of Federal University of Technology Akure and CEO of a music blog (Naijajam), Akinleye Daniel, popularly known as, 9jabaz, has died in a ghastly auto crash. (Read More Here).
According to information, he and 4 others were on their way to school on Monday evening, August 2, 2021, when their car ran into a truck that had disobeyed traffic light rules. The fatal car accident happened around Adesuper area of Akure, Ondo state.
A source says: “We rushed the victims to the school to get help but the gateman didn’t allow us in. The officers at the health center said there was no fuel in 4 ambulances to convey the victims. We had to rush them to another hospital where Daniel was pronounced dead while the remaining four are lying in an unconscious state."
According to multiple sources, students who witnessed the accident rushed to the school gate to call for an ambulance from the health center but were prevented by the ‘Sheriff’ - gatekeeper from gaining entrance.
Colleagues and course mates of late Daniel have rushed to social media to demand justice over negligence played by the gateman and school authority of FUTA.
