Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that riot has rocked Mokola, Ibadan, Oyo State, as angry residents stormed Oyo State Secretariat and Amotekun's office to protest over the death of 15-year-old boy, Peter Okafor. (Read More Here).
In the trending video, the moment the angry residents were marching to Oyo State Secretariat was captured on video. Peter Okafor's corpse has been deposited at the mortuary.
According to an eyewitness, it revealed that Peter was walking on the road in the early hours of Wednesday when he saw Amotekun officers and he started running. The eyewitness said why Peter started running away after seeing the Amotekun operatives hasn't been known yet.
According to the eyewitness, he says Peter was shot dead around Uncle Joe area of Mokola in Ibadan by operatives of the State Security Network, Amotekun and his body was left on the spot where he was killed.
“I don’t know what he did to warrant his running, but they shot him in the head and he died instantly,” the witness said.
Peter was said to be an apprentice at a printing press. Angry residents are demanding justice over the death of the 15-year-old boy.
