"We don't sell reviews. We tell the Truth" - Cinema Pointer tells Iyabo Ojo as it debunks claim that its blog was paid by Funke Akindele to discredit Toyin Abraham's The Ghost and The Tout Too during reviews

Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that popular movie review page on Instagram, Cinema Pointer, has debunked claims that its writers got paid by Funke Akindele Bello to discredit Toyin Abraham Ajeyemi's latest movie, "The Ghost and The Tout Too." (Read More Here).

Taking to its Instagram page, Cinema Pointer says that The Ghost and The Tout Too is a copy and paste of Funke Akindele Bello's Omo Ghetto The Saga.

After the reviews, Iyabo Ojo rushed to social media to slam the page as she said that Funke Akindele paid the blogger a certain amount of money to discredit Toyin Abraham Ajeyemi's latest movie.

Taking to its Instagram page, Cinema Pointer says its writer wasn't paid to discredit her work, but only wrote the truth.

Reviews from Cinema Pointer: "Not Recommended for intelligent people. Over the years, we have told you many truths but non Greater than this: Intelligent minds were not taken into consideration at all in the writing and in the making of 'Ghost and The Tout Too'. Thusly, intelligent minds will not enjoy it at all.

"Regardless of how flagrantly it copycats off 'Ómó Ghetto: The Saga' desperately hoping to shine like it. Unlike that one 'The Ghost and The Tout Too' doesn't understand that movie-making is rooted in brain-work and not in using cinema to do "Yahoo", abusing stardoms to fleece fandoms.

"Sadly, in 'The Ghost and The Tout Too', celebrity after celebrity only lead to leprotic performance after leprotic performance. As a haplessly brain-dead story leads to pointless scene after pointless scene, all soaked together in a deluge of sterile dialogue. So much so that trying to find any mirth seeing it would be an exercise in futility.
Trust us, IF you are intelligent, you are better off staying back home this weekend to watch 'Ómó Ghetto: The Saga' which incidentally opens on Netflix this Friday, 10th of September 2021. If not.
Brain Go Pain You Tire."

Iyabo Ojo wrote: "How much did Funke pay you to write this rubbish, the day she begins to find ways not to talk bad about her fellow colleagues or tru to discredit their hard work or personality that the day she will begin to experience inner peace. Na social media you go dey form better person, I know you and you know me. We know ourselves wella you @cinemapointer, go back and tell your sender that on matter how many times you try to pull Toyin down or discredit her works, it won't work. Toyin's hard work and movie "The Ghost and The Tout 2" will make box office."
