Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that South African actress and Desmond Tutu's granddaughter, Natasha Thahane, has cleared the air concerning her 1 million Rand funding. (Read More Here).

Taking to her social media platforms, Natasha Thahane, apologised to Mam Baleka Mbete for involving her in a way that made it looked like they had a personal relationship. 

Addressing the general public, Natasha Thahane, says that she didn't receive R 1million from neither Mam Baleka Mbete nor from the Department of Sports, Arts and Culture. 

According to her, she received only 350K rands as her tuition fees and it was for her first semester only. According to Natasha, she says that she met Mam Baleka at the building of Department of Sports, Arts and Culture, and asked her how to go about the funding. 

Mam Baleka told her that it's only the Department of Sports, Arts and Culture, that has the power for such. She (Natasha) proceeded as she applied for the funding without the help of Mam Baleka. 

Fast forward, Natasha says she received a notification, informing her that her funding request has been approved with the sum of R350K. 

Natasha says she was given R315K at first, and was give the additional 35K rands after confirming she was indeed studying at school. According to her, her grandaunt or sister helped her with her tuition fees for second semester. 

Natasha confirmed that she's still owing for her tuition fees at the New York Film Academy in the United States of America. Natasha said that her interview with MacG was taken out of context.
