BREAK THE BIAS: Reactions as Wema bank shares picture of lady holding Emeka Ibrahim Adekunle's ATM card to celebrate women on International Women's Day today

Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that Wema bank has caused stirs with their picture/banner, which they posted to celebrate women on International Women's Day today.

Taking to social media, Wema Bank, shared a picture showing a young lady holding an ATM card belonging to a man, Emeka Ibrahim Adekunle, while at a restaurant together.

In the picture, 'Break The Bias', is seen. What that means hasn't been fully ascertained as too many meanings to the phrase and pictures are still coming.

However, Nigerians, as usual, have taken to their social media platforms to react. Most Nigerians are angry at Wema bank, while some can't see anything wrong with the message and picture.

Reactions from Nigerians below:

May Morris-kawel@Maymorris_k·2hI think most people are not getting Wema bank's drift. Going by their 3 consecutive yearly #IWD post, I suspect strongly that their social media page, is been managed by highly intelligent women. The message is for women to break the bias by not accepting to be victims or weak!

The generation wants to reverse the traditional roles so bad. If not, there shouldn't be any problems with what Wema Bank posted. 9 out of 10 men put there are happy to foot their women's bill. It doesn't make their women lazy, weak or incapable.
