Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that popular South African cable TV, Multichoice, has confirmed its company has closed Russia Today - RT Channel on DSTV in South Africa and across all other African countries. (Read More Here).
Taking to his Twitter page, Multichoice, has confirmed its brand has truly shut down the transmission of Russia Today on DSTV platform.
According to information, Multichoice, says the sanctions imposed on Russia by the E.U has led to the ceasing to provide the broadcast feed to all subscribers of DSTV.
DSTV wrote:
"MultiChoice confirms that as of today, 2 March 2022, Russia Today (Channel 407) shall not be carried on the DStv platform until further notice. Sanctions imposed on Russia by the E.U has led to the global distributor ceasing to provide the broadcast feed to all suppliers."
