Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that Mozambican and South African nationals (prisoners) have escaped from Rooigrond Prison in Mahikeng NW. (Read More Here).
In a statement from popular South African crime blogger, Yusuf Abramjee, revealed that four prisoners have escaped.
The two prisoners happen to be Mozambican nationals (people from Mozambique) and the other two are South Africans.
The inmates have been identified as Zachariah Francisco Nyalimate, Alfred Gwambe, Siyabonga Sithole and Edward Madiba.
Zachariah Franciso got convicted for house breaking and murder. He's serving 27 years in prison.
Alfred Gwambe convicted of House breaking, theft and hijacking of a stolen vehicle. He's serving 65 years in prison.
Siyabonga Sithole convicted of rape, theft and house breaking and he's serving a life sentence.
Information reads:
"Four prisoners have escaped from the Rooigrond Prison in Mahikeng NW. Two of them are Mozambican nationals."
