"We're safe now" - Passenger, Anas Iro, confirms safety of 1,000 passengers following bomb incident on Abuja-Kaduna train

Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that a passenger, Anas Iro, has confirmed that the train of 'Abuja-Kaduna' destination is safe now. (Read More Here).

An hour ago, a passenger on the train, Anas Iro, revealed that their train was under an attack by unknown gunmen, who had planted bombs on the rails. 

According to him, the incident and gunshot moments started around 8PM on Monday, March 28, 2022, while they were still between Katari to Rijana.

20 minutes later, Anas took to his Facebook page to reveal that he and 999 (1,000 in total) are all safe. He confirmed that the Nigerian Army were with them at the time of filing the report. 

Anas Iro Danmusa wrote:

"Please this is an emergency. We're inside train at the moment. Kidnappers planted explosives and train engines have been ruined. We're helpless. Abuja to Kaduna train. Gunshots still being fired right around us. We are just under the seats praying to God while waiting for help. Since 8pm we have been here. Btw Katari to Rijana. I'm a living witness."
