Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it South African one time besties, Da Les and AKA Worldwide, are officially back together again. (Read More Here).
They reunited with each other on stage at CottonFest 2022 in Newtown Johannesburg this night. Before their reuniting, there was speculations of them fighting with each other secretly over a woman.
While speculations of their beef was ongoing, Da Les released a song, titled, 'Gucci Snakes', which lots of South Africans thought the song was aimed at AKA Worldwide.
Da L.E.S kept mum on the speculation for a while but recently broke his silence as a guest on Lasizwe's Drink Or Tell The Truth show on YouTube this past Friday.
Lasizwe asked Da L.E.S about the alleged diss track, “You did a diss track about AKA sleeping with your baby mama, Is that why you are not cool any more? Will you ever make peace?”
Da L.E.S made it clear that the track was never about AKA.
“I am glad you asked me this question. No.1 that track was never about AKA and that's on period. No.2 don't believe everything that people say and No.3 I love my family with all my heart so I just decided to choose a path of family and I got a new kid on the way.”
“Gucci Snakes is not about AKA, what the hell! Gucci Snakes is literally about Gucci snakes. It's just hip hop guys," Da Les confirmed.
"We are still really good! We went to a basketball game together. I think a lot of the speculation comes because we haven't done music together but that is not true. We have been recording a couple of tracks together but we have been working on our own projects but we'll drop it when it is the right time."
