Justice demanded for Kenyan queer lady, Sheila 'Leila' Lumumba, who got gang raped and killed by six men in her apartment in Karatina town

Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that a Kenyan lesbian, Sheila 'Leila' Lumumba, has been gang raped and murdered by six men in Karatina town. (Read More Here).

According to information, six men had stormed the house of Sheila on April 19, 2022. According to Njeri, stated that six men got into the apartment of Sheila and in the process, they broke her, raped and killed her. 

The incident happened in Karatina town. Now, LGBTQI community in Kenya and in East Africa are demanding justice for Sheila Lumumba. 

The main motive behind her death was because of her sexuality (Lesbian). Kenya is one of the most Homophobic countries in Africa, alongside Uganda, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Nigeria, Ghana, and others.

Today Sheila is dead, six men broke into her house and gang raped her, further broke her leg according to the autospy and killed this beautiful beautiful human in Karatina town.

Sheila Lumumba was gang raped & murdered by 6 men in her home. Why? Bc she was a lesbian. 64% if not more of LGBTQ+ people have experienced anti-LGBT+ violence. Homophobic hate crimes are a serious issue that the CJS needs to respond to.
