Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that Former First Lady, Mama Ngina Kenyatta, has shaved off Field Marshall Muthoni Wa Kirima's dreadlocks during a ceremony in Nyeri. (Read More Here).
Muthoni has never shaved her hair since her days as a Mau Mau member but she allowed the former first lady to cut them off.
The feud between Mama Ngina and Muthoni Kirima, wife to Dedan Kimathi was because of land. Muthoni wanted squatters, who are children of MAU MAU to be given land.
Their reconciliation is null and void if Mama Ngina is not willing to resettle the squatters that she stole land from.
The president's mother passionately asked Mt Kenya voters to rally behind President Uhuru Kenyatta's political direction saying he would never mislead the country.
She also hit out at critics insulting her son attributing it to poor upbringing; she maintained the president would not stoop to their level.
Oscar Osoro wrote: "Former First Lady Mama Ngina Kenyatta shaves off Field Marshall Muthoni Wa Kirima's dreadlocks during a ceremony in Nyeri.
"For 70 years, she has donned her dreadlocks with pride as a testimony to her participation in the struggle for independence against the colonialists."
