BREAKING: Police finally opens investigations and search for alleged abusive murderer and ANC man, Major Mfesane Bhekezulu over death of girlfriend, Singwa Namhla Mtwa, at Sdwadwa View in Mthatha

Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that South Africa Police Service have finally manhunt for man who murdered his girlfriend at Sdwadwa View in Mthatha. (Read More Here).


According to information, 35-year-old, Singwa Namhla Mtwa, was shot nine times in her car in Mthatha. According to information,, Major Mfesane Bhekezulu is said to be an ANC supporter as a picture or him rocking an ANC top resurfaces on the Internet. 

South Africa Police Service:

"ZWELITSHA – The Eastern Cape Provincial Commissioner, Lieutenant General Nomthetheleli Mene reiterated her concerns about the acts of gender-based violence and femicide perpetrated against women and children in the Province. This follows after trending social media images assumed to be that of the victim, Namhla Mtwa, who was fatally wounded in the evening of 21 April 2022 in Mthatha.

"The 35-year-old deceased Namhla Mtwa, was allegedly shot and murdered inside her car by an unknown suspect while she was arriving in her Sidwadwa based home in Mthatha. She sustained gunshot wounds in her upper body and was declared dead at the scene.

"In response to the incident and to ensure a meticulous process of the investigation, the Provincial Commissioner, Lieutenant General Mene appointed a senior manager at the level of a Brigadier to oversee the case. There is a regular engagement between the detectives and family members of the deceased to provide constant feedback on ongoing investigation.

“Members of the family and the public are therefore assured that Namhla’s case is in the hands of capable and professionally trained detectives. With the support and response demonstrated by the community and various formations in every corner of our province and outside its borders, we are optimistic that a breakthrough in this particular case will be made. An appeal is also made that whoever possesses critical information that will add value to the work of the investigating team and further lead to the arrest of the suspect, should please share it with the lead investigator”. Lieutenant General Nomthetheleli Mene added.

"The SAPS appreciates the response of some members of the public who out of concern for issues relating to gender-based violence and femicide, approached the police with information. People are encouraged to continue sharing information with the SAPS to safeguard the investigation from potentially inaccurate information that may indirectly and inadvertently mislead the course of the ongoing and sensitive investigations.

"Anyone who may be able to assist in the investigation by sharing information that will lead to positive identification and arrest of the suspect is requested to please contact the lead investigating officer Brigadier Venetia Masingi, at 082 040 6751 or call Crime Stop 08600 10111."

Information reads: "Singwa Namhla Mtwa, 35 was allegedly shot nine times by a hit man in her driveway in Mthatha on 21 April 2022. She died at the scene.
It is alleged that she got killed because she was trying to leave an abusive relationship. Fly high, Sister."
