FIFA select three female referees; Stéphanie Frappart (France), Salima Mukansanga (Rwanda) and Yoshimi Yamashita (Japan) for World Cup 2022 in Qatar after 92 years

Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that FIFA has finally selected three female referees for the first time after 92 years of the tournament. 

The ladies are: Stéphanie Frappart (France), Salima Mukansanga (Rwanda) and Yoshimi Yamashita (Japan). 

They will be referees at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar. 

Saddick reports:

"The 2022 Men’s World Cup in Qatar will see female referees for the first time in history. They’re only 3 and one of them is Rwanda’s Salima Mukansanga. 

"She’s also the first female referee to officiate an AFCON match.
She is just 35. Has a degree in Nursing and Midwifery."

"FIFA has selected female referees for the first time in the men's World Cup’s 92-year history.

"Stéphanie Frappart (France), Salima Mukansanga (Rwanda) and Yoshimi Yamashita (Japan) will have the chance to officiate during the 2022 tournament in Qatar
