Throwback tweet of Bashir Ahmad supporting death penalty for blasphemy resurfaces following murder of Shehu Shagari College of Education female student, Deborah, in Sokoto

Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that a throwback tweet of Bashir Ahmad supporting death penalty for blasphemy has resurfaced. (Read More Here).

His tweet resurfaced following the killing of Shehu Shagari College of Education female student, Deborah, in Sokoto, today. 

In his tweet, he says he can't pretend or keep silent over his support for death penalty to those who blaspheme against Prophet Muhammad S.A.W. 

Bashir Ahmad wrote:

"I can't pretend or keep silent. I support the death penalty for blasphemy. That's my belief and I don't and will never support it."

In another news, Bashir Ahmad Ahmad has mocked supporters of Goodluck Jonathan after it was reported that he has finally accepted APC presidential form. 

He wrote: "He’s been sick for some days now, unable to walk around like he used to.When I shared the news of former President Jonathan joining our party, his uninformed supporters insulted me saying that can never happen even in the wildest dream. They should know that we know something they don’t know and not everything plan and execute on social media."
