Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that A sound engineer, simply identified as David, has been lynched and burnt to death in Lagos. (Read More Here).
According to multiple sources, David, a father-of-two was on his way home from a club when the incident occurred at Lekki Phase 1, Lagos, a few days ago.
A gory video which is making the rounds shows that the deceased was being beaten alongside yet-to-be-identified men, said to be David's friends - Frank and Philip - who are currently receiving medical treatment.
As at the time of this report, it’s unclear what truly happened as some sources say it was as a result of a disagreement over N100 while others say it was as a result of a kidnap allegation.
According to the spokesperson of the Lagos police command, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, the perpetrators of the crime have been arrested. Meanwhile, friends of the deceased have created #JusitceForDave to demand justice for the deceased.

People are suddenly trying to attribute barbaric killings in Nigeria to Northerners. Cruel killings occur daily in the SE and in other parts of the South. That perpetrators are called "Unknown Gunmen" or "cultists" doesn't make the brutal killings different

Dave was a sound Engineer in Lagos. He was on his way to an event at Admiralty using the same bike with the keyboardist Philip . They had an argument with the bike man who was an Aboki man over N100 which resulted in a fight. #JusticeForDave.
