VIDEO: Severed head of Lawmaker, Honourable Okechukwu Okoye, finally found at Chisco park in Amichi community of Anambra State

Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that Beheaded Anambra Lawmaker Was a Front Runner in the Forthcoming APGA Primary Election for Aguata II State Constituency. 


The lawmaker representing Aguata North, in the Anambra State House of Assembly, Okechukwu Okoye, has been beheaded by his abductors.

His severed head was found on Saturday, May 21, at Nnobi in Idemili South LGA of the state, the state police command said in a statement. 

The deceased lawmaker, who represented the constituency of the State Governor, Chukwuma Soludo in the State House of Assembly, was kidnapped on May 15, alongside Cyril Chiegboka, his campaign director, in Aguata.

Confirming the development, the command’s spokesperson, Tochukwu Ikenga, said, “His head was found along Nnobi road on Saturday. There is no suspect in custody yet.”

Meanwhile, the Anambra governor, Chukwuma Soludo, has offered N10 million as reward for anyone with useful information on the m#rder of Okechukwu.

Christian Aburime, spokesman to the governor, made this known in a statement on Saturday.

According to TheCable, he said, “Prof Chukwuma Charles Soludo, CFR, has received with shock and deep sadness the news of the gruesome murder of Hon. Okechukwu Okoye. 

He has vowed that the perpetrators as well as all criminals operating in Anambra must be decisively brought to book. He has placed a N10 million reward for anyone or group that will avail valuable information that will lead to the immediate arrest of the perpetrators of this dastardly act.”
