Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that Businesswoman Agnes Kagure has been cleared by IEBC to vie for the Nairobi gubernatorial seat as an independent candidate. (Read More Here).
Agnes Kagure made the announcement on her Twitter page this afternoon in Kenya.
She wrote: "I am happy to be officially cleared by the IEBC to seek Nairobi residents' mandate to lead our county's transformation as governor. I thank God for seeing us this far, and you, my loyal supporters, for leading the way. Gavana ni Mama Agnes Kagure, Deputy ni Kijana... tushashinda!
"Even with the setbacks, the people's project Agnes Kagure is finally cleared to contest. Being my worship day, I'm reminded of David's story and how he was initially written off but he prevailed, being God's choice - so will we. Let's get going & bring this home.
