Police in Kabwe have formally Charged and Arrested Ten Suspects for the offences of two counts of Murder, Five Counts of Burglary and theft, Six counts of Aggravated Robbery and Twenty two counts of Breaking into a Building and committing a felony there in

Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that Police in Kabwe have formally Charged and Arrested Ten Suspects for the offences of two counts of Murder, Five Counts of Burglary and theft, Six counts of Aggravated Robbery and Twenty two counts of Breaking into a Building and committing a felony there in. 

This was after police on May 13, 2022 at Bwacha Police received a report of Murder and Aggravated Robbery from M/Leonard Mwanamuke, aged 49 of House number C1150, Bwacha in Kabwe who reported that M/James Kamukwamba, aged 72, a Security Guard of Nakoli Compound was found murdered at Tedcas Shopping Complex in Bwacha. He further reported that five Bonanza Machines were stolen and later abandoned at a nearby Stadium.  

Police immediately instituted intelligence led investigations and apprehended two suspects. Upon interviewing the two suspects, they admitted having committed the offences. They later led the Police to eight other suspects making the total number of suspects to be ten namely: 
1. Maxwell Chimwasu aged 34 unmarked, house number Mine Compound Kabwe. 
2. Teddy Kafula aged 21 of Nakoli Compound Kabwe. 
3. A Male Juvenile aged 17 of Nakoli Compound Kabwe. 
4. A Male Juvenile aged 17 of Nakoli Compound Kabwe. 
5. lnnocent Mabeza aged 32 of Kawama Compound Kabwe. 
6. Crispin Mwango aged 37 of Lilanda Compound Lusaka. 
7. Kegan Mwape aged 22 of Chinanimani Kabwe. 
8. Timothy Cheelo aged 21 of Overspill Kabwe. 
9. Asan Sampa aged 22 of Mukobeko area Kabwe. 
10. Leonard Lungu aged 20 of Nakoli kabwe.
After further interviews, the ten suspects admitted having committed the following crimes:
1. Murder case that occurred at Tedcas (Suspects involved 1,2,3,4,5 and 8) 
2. Murder case that occurred at Kasanda New Market (Suspects involved 1,6 and 7)
3. Aggravated Robbery that occurred at Tedcas (Suspects involved1,2,3,4,5 and 8)
4. Aggravated Robbery that occurred at Kasanda New Market (Suspects involved 1,6 and 7)
5. Aggravated Robbery that occurred along Mine Hospital Road (Suspects involved 1,6, 8 and 10)
6. Aggravated Robbery that occurred at Dreams Bar in Mukobeko (Suspects involved 1, 4, 8 and 9).
Then the ten suspects led the Officers to various places where they committed offences as follows:

AGGRAVATED ROBBERY
1. Dreams Bar in Mukobeko Township
2. Proxim General Dealers, Mine Hospital Road
3. Capital Fisheries, Kasanda New Market 
4. Tedcas Trading area in Bwacha 
5. Mantasha Investment at Kasanda New Market 
6. Bonanza Shop near Capital Fisheries
BREAKING INTO A BUILDING AND COMMITING A FELONY THEREIN
1. One Love Complex, Kaputula Compound  
2. Mafoko Complex, Mukobeko Township 
3. Shop near Capital Fisheries 
4. N.K. Paris, Road 09, Makululu Compound 
5. Kasavasa

They then led the Police to the recoveries of the following items stolen within Kabwe in the past two years:

Some items have since been identified today after a display that was held at Kabwe Central Police Station while others are yet to. We are appealing to residents of Kabwe who may have had their premises broken into to come forward and help in identifying the recovered items. The suspects are detained in police custody and will appear in court soon.
