Police warn after reports of Five Lions escaping from Luangwa National Park are on the loose in Luano District goes viral

Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that Five Lions have escaped from Luangwa National Park on the loose in Luano District. 

Taking to social media, a popular Zambian blog, Bakwetu, reported that five lions have escaped. How they escaped haven't been ascertained at the time of filing the report. 

Bakwetu reports:

Five Lions have escaped from Luangwa National Park on the loose in Luano District." 

Luano District commissioner has sent warns to the people of Luano over the stray lions. 

LUANO DC WARNS OF STRAY LION'S IN LUANO DISTRICT:
"Luano District Commissioner KELLS MELEKI ,has advised people's in luano district especially in chief chembe chiefdom in luano valley and other's sorrounding area's to be worry of 3 suspected stray lion which is believed to be in luano District.

"Mr MELEKI, say's the suspected 3 stray Lion's has since killed 9 cattle's in KANSHI MULILO COMMUNITY, MWAPULA COMMUNITY AND CHANGWE COMMUNITY, in chief chembe chiefdom in luano district.

"MR MELEKI , has since adviced people's to be moving in pairs and avoid nights movements as the lion's is reported to be vicious.

"MR MELEKI, said that government through his office is working hard to see that these stray lions are controlled,the Zambia Wildlife officer's are on the ground and the officer's has since wounded one lion which is on the run, he said the officer's are on the ground looking for the reported 3 Stray lion's.

"KELLS MELEKI, 
LUANO DISTRICT COMMISSIONER."
