South African influencers accuse Rihanna's Fenty Beauty of not paying its ambassadors for promo

Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that South African superstars, Naledi and Earl have called out Rihanna's Fenty for not paying its brand ambassadors for promo. (Read More Here).

Naledi Mashishi wrote: "Fenty doesn’t pay any of their ambassadors for promo. Behind every billionaire is ethically shady practices.

You guys need to stop bootlicking billionaires who profit off of people’s work without paying them. If the company was not benefitting from the ambassador program it would not exist. It is unethical to not pay people who do work for you.

“But other beauty companies do it?” And? Just because the practice is widespread doesn’t make it any less unethical. Especially when Fenty has built its brand by marketing itself as being progressive.

“But people sign up and know what they’re signing up for”. So? People use that excuse to justify unpaid internships lol. If a company is benefitting off your work they need to pay you for it. And if a role was not valuable to them it would not exist.

Earl wrote: "Why would Rihanna and her team want our sisters to do their promo for free?"
