Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that 1-year-old child has died after an alleged case of child abuse reportedly caused by his babysitter, Kimora Launmei Hodges. (Read More Here).
According to police, the tragedy took place between 3:30 p.m. and midnight on June 13. Officers were called to the hospital after Kyrie was admitted with severe head trauma.
“He had blunt force trauma to the head and he was bleeding out his ears and had to have immediate brain surgery,” mother Taylor Starks said. “All I know is she threw my son into the wall and shook him up pretty bad and they said that’s just a bit of what she did to him.”
Kimora is being held at the Macomb County Jail on $250,000 bond, no 10%, after being charged with first-degree child abuse. Police said they are working with the Macomb County Prosecutor’s Office to enhance the charges against her following the child’s death.
