According to information, bystanders have welcomed 72-year-old Agatha Nyinabutagwira, one of the pilgrims from Kyanyamukale parish in Fort Portal Diocese on arrival in Kyaliwajjala on May 31, 2022. 

MartyrsDay22 is  happening this Friday will be marked under the theme: “Hope beyond affliction.

Archbishop Ssemogerere say: "We thank the Fort Portal Diocese for spearheading and animating this year's Uganda Martyrs Day. I thank the pilgrims who walked for so many miles to come to Namugongo. We pray that the Lord can grant you your requests."
