Ms Dante wants to be paid K1 million in defamation damages after Ms Mutambo, a losing Munali constituency independent candidate, allegedly accused her of secretly working with opposition acting Patriotic Front secretary general Nickson Chilangwa.
Through her lawyers, Japhet Zulu advocates, Ms Dante has written a demand letter to Ms Mutambo dated June 18, 2022 dispelling the allegations against her posted on Facebook.
The Facebook post alleges that Ms Dante has been leaking information to the PF official to give advantage and strength to the former governing party’s media team
