Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that Jamaica Police yet to confirm arrest of 23-year-old person of interest and suspect Rushane Barnett over murder of Clarendon mother, Kimesha Wright and her children. (Read More Here).

 But Minister of National Security Dr Horace Chang, has said suspect in the heinous killing of a mother and her four children in Clarendon is now in police custody.

According to information, the killing of the four children and their mother at took place their home in New Road, Chapelton, Clarendon this morning.
 
The suspect is said to be a relative of the deceased. Gwendolyn McKnight, the mother of 34-year-old Kimberly Wright who was murdered along with her four children in Clarendon, recalls this morning’s gruesome discovery in the community of Cocoa Piece.

Residents gathered at the house in New Road, Clarendon where a mother and her four children were found dead this morning. The police say the bodies were found with their throats slashed. Crime scene investigators have now arrived. - Contributed video. 

The children have been identified as 15-year-old Kimana Smith, Shemari Smith, 10, Kafana Smith, 5, and 23-month-old Kishaun Henry.

The grieving woman was comforted by Minister of Education and Youth Fayval Williams. Reports have it that The Government of Jamaica strongly condemns the gruesome and horrific murder of a 31-year-old mother and her four children including a toddler, in Clarendon this morning.
