#PressRelease: The Government of Jamaica strongly condemns the gruesome and horrific murder of a 31-year-old mother and her four children including a toddler, in Clarendon this morning.

The children have been identified as 15-year-old Kimana Smith, Shemari Smith, 10, Kafana Smith, 5, and 23-month-old Kishaun Henry.

The grieving woman was comforted by Minister of Education and Youth Fayval Williams.

Police chase a taxi operator who allegedly transported the person of interest, 23-year-old Roshane Barnett, from this morning's New Road, Clarendon murder scene where a mother and her four children were killed. The driver is now giving a statement at the Chapleton Police Station.

Jamaican prime minister wrote: "(1/2) I am devastated to learn of the gruesome killing of Kimesha Wright and her four children in Clarendon.
